Welcome to the Website for the Franciscan Order of the Companions of Jesus.

All are welcome here and we hope this will be a place you will return to often.

Who we are

The Companions of Jesus Franciscans of the third millennium. Men and women who are called to walk in unity on the road of reconciliation. Prayerfully working within the whole household of God, seeking to repair the divisions made by man to the to the Body of Christ.

Individually and corporately by the Power of the Holy Spirit a Companion of Jesus seeks to be an instrument of God's love, working and living within the local community. They share in the fellowship and the daily life of all they meet, with brothers and sisters, right across the denominational spectrum and beyond.

Group of diverse hands stacked together, showing unity and teamwork, with colorful sweaters.

“We have been called to heal wounds, to unite what has fallen apart, and to bring home those who have lost their way.”

“There are three things we have to let go of. The first is the compulsion to be successful. Second, is the compulsion to be right-especially theologically right. (That’s merely an ego trip, and because of this “need” churches split in half, with both parties prisoners of their own egos.) Finally, there is the compulsion to be powerful, to have everything under control.”
